Sun Toyota recently honored its top employees for 2018 in several categories. Managing Partner John Marazzi and General Sales Manager Ferris Hamdan announced the annual award winners recently at the dealership. Employees were honored for their many outstanding achievements in sales, service and customer service, as well as for personal qualities of leadership, team spirit, work ethic, and attitude.
Morgan Auto Group “Outstanding Employee of the Year” – Beth Peake (Administration). Beth is an executive assistant to Managing Partner John Marazzi. She wears multiple hats as she smooths store operations. She’s quickly become a great asset to the success of Sun Toyota. She is detail oriented, very organized, amazingly efficient, and takes pride in mission accomplishment.
“Executive Manager of the Year” – John Heisler (second consecutive year). John consistently turns in exemplary numbers and is a leader who brings out the best in his entire team.
“Manager of the Year” – John Lafemina (Service). John gives all he’s got every day and is a positive role model for his teammates.
“New Car Salesperson of the Year” – Tommy “Chills” Tsilionis. He’s a happy kind of guy who has been with us from the start and continues to grow and excel every day.
“Used Car Salesperson of the Year” – Jay London. Here every day long before most others, Jay proactively searches for customers and locates the best cars for their unique needs.
“Rookie Salesperson of the Year” – Nick Nardello. Nick proactively mines for sales every day and turns in consistently strong sales numbers, hardly taking any time off.
“Internet Salesperson of the Year” – Nael Barjas, was “Rookie Salesperson” in 2017. We feel Nael embodies the Sun Toyota way every day and continues to excel in sales, month after month.
“Collision Advisor of the Year” – John Glorioso, for the second consecutive year. He’s just a machine in generating sales and profits in parts and labor.
“Finance Manager of the Year” – Robert Coleman. Robert is a good fit here at Sun Toyota because he is a loyal team player who exudes positivity—and he’s the most consistently successful member of the F&I team.
“Top ASM CSI of the Year” – Kira Ritchie. Kira’s customers love her and 348 of them gave her high marks for customer satisfaction in 2018. Nice job!
“Top CSI Salesperson of the Year” – Rammie Hamdan. While he’s the brother of General Sales Manager Ferris Hamdan, his customers consistently praise his work and he’s carving out his own loyal customer base.
“Assistant Service Manager (ASM) of the Year” – Michael McKinley (Service) for second year. He not only regularly drives in great sales numbers, his customers love him and shower him with positive reviews.
“Technician of the Year” – Pat Mcloone (Service); Chris Ahrens (Collision). Pat is our shop foreman. He’s unusually organized and is a wealth of knowledge for his team. Chris makes the most of his time, turning in extraordinary hours and delivering strong profits for the dealership.
“Express Tech of the Year” – Emanuel Vargas (Service). Here’s one dedicated, hard-working technician who comes to work every day with a great attitude and works hard for his customers!
“Parts Employee of the Year” – Jamie Jones (Service). Jamie is our “go-to” guy in parts and looks for ways to help others throughout the dealership.
“Detailer of the Year” – Raffy Estevez, for second consecutive year. What can we say? He’s is an expert detailer who hustles every day to make detailed vehicles simply dazzle!
“Administrators of the Year” – Jennifer Horn (Sales); Linda Welch (Service), for second year; and Nancy Delfel (Collision). Jennifer is always eager to help others and tackles problems head-on, making for a smoother operation. Linda is efficient and organized and works collaboratively with her teammates. Nancy always has a great attitude and works well with others.
“Outstanding Leader of the Year” – Christine Conley, our Internet Director for both Sun Toyota and Brandon Honda, has tremendous technical knowledge and does an amazing job of leading her store teams to #1 status in volume in Tampa Bay area.
“Outstanding Café Employee of the Year” – Amanda Boltwood. Amanda is a busy woman these days, but she’s dependably here on time every day and comes to work every day with an eagerness to learn all parts of the café operation.
“Most Dedicated Employee” – Bob Butler. Bob works hard every day and lives and breathes Sun Toyota and his team. Just as any winner does, he gives 150 percent of himself every day with a smile.
“Most Improved Employee” – Anthony Prestigiacomo (Service). Tony anchors our shop parts department and has proven himself to be an effective leader, embracing a new parts direct delivery process that maximizes service technicians’ productive time.
“Most Inspirational Employee” – Jaime Jones (Service) – his second recognition, having won “Parts Employee of the Year” in 2017. Jaime consistently gives to those around him, demonstrating positive teamwork every day.
“Best Attitude” – Mike Rinaldi. Mike had never been in the auto industry before he joined Sun Toyota, but he demonstrates his loyalty and dedication to his work by coming in early and staying until the job is done every day.
