We recently honored our top service associates for 2017 in several categories. Service Director Eric Lewis and I recently announced the winners at the dealership. Join me in congratulating these outstanding men and women of Sun Toyota!
“Manager of the Year” was awarded George Mantzaris for his strong leadership and management of the collision center. He’s set numerous records and has excelled in building and developing his team.
“Most Valuable Service Player” awards were given to both John Lafemina and Steve Wilson. Assistant Service Manager Lafemina always has a sunny disposition and works well with others. Service Team Leader Wilson excels at diagnosing tricky service problems and is our most experienced, “go-to” technician for difficult trouble-shooting.
Nancy Delfel was named “Most Valuable Collision Player of the Year” for her service and dedication to Sun Toyota. She has great customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
“Assistant Service Manager (ASM) of the Year” went to Michael McKinley. He has a loyal customer base and was honored for his professionalism, strong work ethic and top customer satisfaction ratings.
“ASM of the Year – Collision” was awarded to John Glorioso. He is an experienced, productive worker who consistently gets high customer satisfaction ratings and enjoys a loyal customer following.
Tony Roche was awarded “ASM CSI of the Year” for the second consecutive year. He’s been a service writer for five years and a high customer service rating. His loyal base of customers respect and trust him as their liaison to technicians.
Brian Bicknell took top honors as “Service Technician of the Year,” based on his work ethic and productivity. He’s a valuable team player who is knowledgeable, fast, and efficient, and he never leaves before the job is done.
The “Collision Technician of the Year” was based on volume and went to Robert Strawn. He’s a real team player who is always willing to help colleagues.
“Detailer of the Year” was awarded to Raffy Estevez. He puts in a great deal of effort and is a positive influence on all his teammates.
Jamie Jones was awarded “Parts Employee of the Year” for his expertise and knowledge of parts and supply sources. In addition to helping manage parts inventories, technicians and service writers heavily rely on his expertise in identifying and securing the right parts for challenging repairs.
Linda Welch won top honors as “Service Administrator of the Year.” As the service office manager, she brings a high level of experience and professionalism to her work. She has a sunny disposition and works hard every day helping customers and colleagues.
“Best Attitude of the Year” was awarded to Assistant Service Manager Joe Putchlawski. Aspiring to be an ASM, he put on a smile and made it his responsibility to learn the job from teammates. His “can-do” attitude and positive nature earned him this recognition.
